Library Orientation Program for Research & Newly Joined Faculty

Greetings from the Nava Nalanda Central Library, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET). We are delighted to welcome you to the TIET research community and invite you to participate in our Library Orientation Program, specially organized for newly joined research faculty.

The orientation aims to familiarize you with the library’s extensive range of scholarly resources, digital tools, and research support services that are integral to your academic and research journey at TIET.

During the session, you will:

Discover the library’s print and digital collections, databases, and e-resources.

Learn about research support and bibliometric services available to enhance your scholarly work.

Explore digital platforms such as SCOPUS, Proquest

Understand how the library can assist with citation management, plagiarism detection, and enhancing research visibility.

Professor Ajay Batish, Pro-Vice Chancellor, TIET, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Professor Shalini Batra, Dean of Faculty Affairs, has consented to be the guest speaker.
