1. Accessing Electronic Resources Out Side the TIET Networks

For the purpose of accessing electronic resources outside the TIET Nework, Shibboleth Open Source System has been used. Faculty, Research Scholars, Post Graduate and Undergraduate Student shall be authenticated for availing remote access services.

To login through Remote Access ID:

Visit: https://idp.thapar.edu

Select Publisher Name which you need to access Remotely

It will prompt to Enter Your Login

Your Login is "Your Enrollment Number / Employee ID"

Your Password is "Your Enrollment Number / Employee ID @tiet". Change it on first Login.

If your login do not works, send a request message through eticket https://eticket.thapar.edu and select NNCL-Remote Access Login. Provide your details in message box:

2. Fair Use Policy

The Remote Access account is activated for authorized TIET Users only. Do not share your credential to any other person outside of TIET Academic fraternity including your friends. The ID is being tracked and if any misuse noticed it will be deactivated.
